We were struggling to get young girls interested in coding, because girls don’t think other girls code. So we created an alternate internet where that suddenly became true.

What if girls literally didn’t code?

Missing-code.com is an interactive experience that allows visitors to surf an internet where someone has gone in and taken out all the code written by women. So when girls visit their most used  platforms, they see what they would be like without the code made by women...and realize just how important the contributions of women coders are.
